Biofuels and the Poor Wiki
An Introduction
As a medium for learning about, contributing, and sharing information relating to biofuels, the Biofuels and the Poor Wiki is a living document that is meant to be continually updated and edited as we learn more about biofuels. This is a starting point for beginners to learn more about biofuels, and a community space for scholars.
The Biofuels and the Poor Wiki is part of a Gates Foundation project -- Biofuels and the Poor -- that aims to objectively assess the impacts of biofuels on developing countries. Primary objectives are to create a global modeling platform with which to analyze the pathways biofuel production and use will impact, and to gain a better understanding of unique impacts in Africa and India, utilizing in-depth case studies.
